I have experienced some remarkable awe and amazement over a couple of my stroker boys who managed to go for a week or more without indulging themselves. If you truly lack the self-control required to keep you from incessantly wanking, you need a training program in which guidance and direction are provided and definite structure is imposed, whereby you are not given free reign to touch yourself at will. When I encounter a client who needs help in controlling himself and I consider instituting a masturbation control training program, I first assess the severity of his problem. I gauge the frequency of his self-stimulation, explore his “procedure” (i.e., stroking repeatedly to climax or compulsively edging), determine other sexual behaviors in which he engages, and collect various other pieces of pertinent information. Once I have gathered the details I need, I then tailor to the individual potential options for controlling self-pleasuring. These possible approaches range from methods to prevent stroking completely (such as chastity) to moderating self-pleasuring (i.e., being explicitly directed on stroking while in session, given a stroking schedule, requiring regular status reports on behavior via session, IM, and/or e-mail) to using the technique of flooding, where the client is overwhelmed with being ordered to stroke repeatedly.
