Many of you who are regulars in the LDW community are aware of and visit our Cock Control and Sissy School forums. You know these forums encourage and provide interaction among visitors with each other as well as with our amazing Mistresses. Some of you prefer to lurk in the background while others remain quite active on a regular basis. Whether you prefer to interact or watch from the sidelines, our forums are free for you to enjoy and provide a wealth of information and answers. 

For those of you who may be unfamiliar with or unaware of our Cock Control and Sissy School forums, let me introduce you to them. These boards serve as avenues where you can ask questions, present concerns, listen to audio clips of each Mistress’ voice, and be kept abreast of various activities going on in the world of LDW. While the forums are a way for visitors to relate to and interact with those of like minds, they are also invaluable routes via which the Mistresses can better get to know potential clients as well as keep in touch with current ones.

Whether you are a newbie or a regular fixture in the forums, I encourage you to explore and take full advantage of the fun, camaraderie, and wealth of information available to you on these boards. This is just another way we enhance the personal touch and community feel of the LDW community. Everyone is invited to join in and interact to the extent that he or she feels comfortable.

*Singing in the tune from “Annie…”* “Tomorrow! Tomorrow!…” Enough said! Tomorrow is the day I am off on my adventure aka mini-vacation. As excited as I am about getting away for a while, I was just as excited to see the UPS man arrive today with my big brown box from Victoria’s Secret! Let’s face it. Taking a vacation is the perfect justification for acquiring some new goodies to add to the ever-expanding wardrobe. One must have something new when going on a trip!

Last week, I parked myself in front of my laptop and launched myself into my own Fantasyland – that of Victoria’s Secret online. That is my Paradise, where I can become lost and wander aimlessly for hours on end. So many gorgeous things, so little time…

First stop: The Sales and Special section… It is essential to check out the bargains first (in every category!), as Victoria’s Secret runs outstanding semi-annual sales and other special sale events. Great deals are always another fantastically effective justification for “I just had to have it. It was an unbelievable bargain I just couldn’t pass up.” 

Next stop: Lingerie… Yes. I have seen every panty, bra, and camisole set marketed by Victoria’s Secret in the multitude of catalogs they are notorious for incessantly sending. I pour over each of these catalogs with great scrutiny, even though I have seen everything in them (except when the first, new, seasonal catalog is published, and then it’s a first-time viewing).

On to: Clothing…  Again, yes, I have seen the full line of tees, blouses, tunics, bra tops, denim, shorts, pants, and so on in those catalogs I have for all intents and purposes committed to memory. Nonetheless, I must browse again while seriously shopping lest I should miss some crucial item I will want to parade around in on the beach or while out at night on-the-town.

Saving the best for last, we conclude our destination in… shoes!! This is one department where I WILL find something –and I shall have my pretty- even if I am not on a serious shopping mission.

Upon concluding my Victoria’s Secret journey, I had in my cart several bras and pairs of panties, three of THE cutest tops, several pairs of shorts, a pair of jeans, two pairs of shoes (a great studded sandal and, of course, some hot 4-3/4” heels!), and a bottle of perfume.

I think I’m ready to go on my vacation now… *winks* I will see you all next Tuesday morning!!

That previously said, one who does consider him or herself to be a raging shoe lover cannot help but be very familiar with those designers who are considered top of the heap and ultra-chic. Who can truly be into shoes and consider themselves well-versed without knowing who Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, and Jimmy Choo are?! While you may not particularly care for their designs, you know they reign supreme in the Land of Designer Shoes!

All this said, I would love to hear from those of you who share my obsession for fantastic footwear. I want to know whether you prefer stilettos or chunky heels, pointed or round toes, platform or standard footbeds, leather or suede, and a smooth and shiny or a buffed and matte finish. Tell me which designers you prefer and why. What colors do you like: bright, flamboyant colors or more subtle, earth tones? If you like boots, are you most drawn to thigh high, knee high, calf or ankle boots? Do you enjoy classic pumps or more modern takes on them? How about ankle straps? Do you find them as feminine and sexy as do I? I could keep milling out and posing questions for hours! After all, we’re talking about one of the great loves of my life! Those of us who live to pamper our feet and slip them into those perfect heels know there is MUCH to discuss when it comes to our likes and dislikes with regard to what we put on our feet.

Hello, my fellow shoe fetishists! I have just this week received that book I await with great excitement… That book that leaves me in anticipation of a major shoe fix… Yes. That’s right. The latest Victoria’s Secret (VS) shoe and accessory catalog arrived, and I immediately submerged my consciousness within the pages and pages of new shoes.

While I am a confessed shoe-holic and –like any real shoe love- am well-versed in the most elite of French and Italian shoe designers, I have a real weakness for the shoe collection at VS because they are so consistently fabulous! VS carries some fantastic lines that range from some truly good –and in the shoe realm, very reasonable- designers (but, no, not high-end!), such as Dolce Vita, Sam Edelman, and Steve Madden to the “average Joe” (or Josephine’s!) idea of expensive shoes (but you true shoe connoisseurs know better!) such as Jessica Simpson, Lucky Brand, and Charles David to the footwear of VS staple shoe guy Colin Stuart (who I personally think rocks when you take his excellent designs and modest cost into account). Since I consider myself to be a true shoe addict who pounces on those that make my heart skip a beat -as opposed to being what I like to call a pseudo-shoe fetishist who thinks a ridiculously overpriced price tag is the absolute indication of fabulous shoes- I take great pride in fawning all over shoes that get me excited while not breaking the bank. That’s why I am prone to direct my sissies and fellow shoe lovers to the VS collection of shoes. When you genuinely adore shoes, it should be about the style, not the tag…

Happy day, my sissies and shoe fetishists! Those of you who have interacted or communicated with me know what a girl girly girl I am and how much I love shoes! Yes! I readily admit that I have a raging shoe fetish. As a die-hard shoe lover who can lickety-split build an entire outfit around a pair of to-die-for shoes, I suppose I take for granted just how deep my obsession with shoes runs. I’ve encountered two experiences lately that have brought my true shoe education to my attention.

Last week, I was in the chat room early one morning talking shoes with some of the chatters. A fellow Southern shoe lover mentioned wearing a pair of his Mistress’ Louboutins, and I countered with a simple, matter-of-fact comment, to which the chatter said he just knew I would know exactly what “Louboutins” were. We then began gushing about these fabulous shoes, when another chatter chimed in, apparently not previously having known what on Earth we were talking about. This was show surprise number one.

Later that same week, in one of my recent Yahoo Instant Messenger status notes, I happened to mention Louboutins, taking for granted that everyone –well, at least those of you who share my shoe fixation or were very fashionable sissies- would immediately know I was in fact talking about the French shoe designer Christian Louboutin. However, I had a chatter who is into shoes and frequently drops in to say “Hello” in the wee morning hours comment on my message – and he had no idea what I meant by Louboutins. He said he figured that must be some “US thing” to which I quickly commented that that was not at all the case. I promptly sent him a link to the official Christian Louboutin website, as I felt I must provide him with a valuable shoe resource – especially since these shoes are the product of an ingenious French show designer, and my IM’er is European!

So… Given these two events, it has come to my attention that my love for footwear –especially fabulous footwear!- runs much deeper than even I thought. Who knew?
