WhOa, Man, Come Here! (Part Two)

crossdressing men, drag queen, feminization, crossdresserWhatever Lola Wants…

A couple of weeks ago, I had occasion to watch one of my favorite movies, Kinky Boots (2005) [You know I love, love, LOVE those queens!], when I was reminded just how Chiwetel Ejiofor -Simon aka Lola- gives me the vapors throughout the duration of that fabulous flick.

If you think this is a case of having the hots for this exceptional actor in a tux, sleek suit or button-down, think again.

This is a personal anecdote on lust for a crossdressing man

Leave Your Expectations at the Door!

Let me be very clear. When taking Mr. Ejiofor into account, we’re not talking about a man you “might expect” to ever see dressed in female clothing… ever! Look at photos of him. Listen to that voice during interviews. Take note of the masculine body language and mannerisms. R-e-a-l man, Baby!!

He’s 5’10”, of average frame for a man of his height, has a deep (baritone-deep at select moments during the movie!) and commanding voice, and actually looks like a man’s man when in boy garb.

Nothing girlie about the real Chiwetel!

What a Man as a Woman!

Despite the dignified, sophisticated masculinity he naturally possesses in a suit and tie as the straight man he is in real time, in this film he manages to pull off being incredibly effeminate (with a smoldering masculine undertone), confidently flamboyant, and gay.

He prisses, he struts, and he walks and talks with a definitive girlie manner, whether clad in boy or girl getup.

(Yes. Yes. I know. He is a drag queen in the flick, but that is merely semantics. He IS a man dressed in women’s clothes during the vast majority of the movie; therefore, he IS a crossdressing man. One more note, while drag queens do tend to be gay, your garden variety crossdressers are NOT gay.)

I’ll Have Some of That Sassitude Please!

Now, not to at all slight my ladies and dolls who feel and act submissively as an essential part of their experience when dressed, but what really blows my pleated skirt up when watching Lola do her thing is the feminine power she exudes… that incredible èlan that never wanes… that joie de vivre that makes her so magnetic… Lola is truly charismatic, in charge – and hot to boot! (Pun well intended!!)

The Irony in the Attire

…And while I personally find Chiwetel moderately attractive in his real time male mode, I could eat Lola up with a spoon, leaving nothing behind but remnants of flashy sequins, colorful feathers, and a pair of stiletto heels, whether she is sporting heavy make-up, a short, flashy dress and pair of thigh high boots à la drag queen… OR a more “conservative” and “muted” (and I use those terms very loosely here) business, daywear or “casual” look.

By the way, for those of you who worry about your voice undermining the appeal of your crossdressing adventures, don’t! Part of Lola’s vast appeal to me IS the fact that her voice is deep. In fact, it gives me the tingles all over…

Oh yes! A crossdressing man CAN be sexually desirable to a woman, very much so – and I’m here to tell you that Lola can come do her thing on my “catwalk” any day of the week!
