Light Up for That Smoking Fetish

While some of you who have a smoking fetish will be too young to recall them, others of you will experience a flashback in hearing that little triple word catch phrase from the Sixties and Seventies era, when lighting up was the stylish and sexy thing for both men and women to do. These ad campaigns promoted and portrayed a woman with a cigarette raised to her lips as sexy, adventurous, sensual, and sociable – all characteristics that appeal to smoking fetishists. Oh yes… For these men, a woman lighting up is a habit that is to be encouraged, not discouraged. So, just what is it that lights the fire of a smoking fetish anyway?

What Kind of Woman Sets a Smoking Fetishist on Fire?

Let’s see… This can warrant everything from a simple to a more complex answer. For some smoking enthusiasts, the allure may be as straightforward as perceiving a woman who smokes as a naughty minx, who is engaging in a habit that many see as a “bad” habit for women. This may have an extra charge if the female taking a drag of a long, slender cigarette looks otherwise to be innocent, demure, sophisticated or classy yet she must be a bad girl because she is smoking – and we all know that only liberated, adventurous, and risqué women smoke, right? So, if this subdued-looking woman smokes, what other temptress-type “habits” is the sexy smoking lady hiding?

Sensuality of a Smoking Fetish

Of course, by another token, the appeal for the smoking fetishist might be the graceful and sensual mechanics of the very act itself that mesmerizes and titillates the man with a scorching smoking fetish. Watch the way a woman’s hands move fluidly in sync –lighter in one hand, ciggy grasped gently between her first two fingers- as she moves the slender white stick to her lips. As her fingers meet her mouth, she slightly parts then puckers her full lips, placing the cigarette between them. When she –or some “helpful” gentleman- goes to light the straight stick now sensually resting between those pouty rosy lips, the combination of that low drawing sound of gentle inhaling and the sensual look of her mouth gently grasping that smooth, slender dugan can be almost too much for a man with a smoking fetish to bear. The unfolding ritual of lifting the grant to her waiting lips; slowly inhaling; emitting a swirling, uprising spiral of hazy smoke; and then repeating is a pure dream sequence for a smoking fetishist.

If you are one of those men who go weak in the knees when you view such a sexy, seductive, spellbinding site, you should know I have a cigarette resting between my fingers – and I am waiting for you to light me up…

Sorry. I think smoking is disgusting and extremely bad for people.

While I will be the first person to advocate for the right of everyone to their own individual opinion(s), your expression of a dissenting opinion on the topic is smoking opens the perfect door for me to reiterate that concept. While you may personally feel that smoking is “disgusting and bad for people”, there are those who do not share your sense of recoil and aversion to the habit. Whether anyone else feels that a smoking fetish is right, wrong or indifferent; delightful, disgusting or innocuous; sexy, sickening or insignificant; those who are titillated by smoking and enjoy such fetish are certainly allowed their personal opinions, preferences, and turn-ons – and no one else need agree with their unique proclivity, as long as they are not harming anyone in the process.

Furthermore, while smoking may be well-established as an unhealthy habit, those who choose to smoke -for any reason, be it a lifelong personal habit, solely social behavior or a fetishistic sexual titillation, one who smokes (for any reason) does so by his or her own independent choice. Again, as long as those who are repelled by any facet of smoking are not directly exposed to or adversely affected by this particular act, then there is no reason for anyone to object, be upset or feel disturbed or disgusted.

In the sense of smoking as being the basis of a particular fetish, choice and individual turn-ons must be supported and championed, as it is no different from other fetishes to which people may object, criticize, discourage, and claim disgust. Some would say that spanking is cruel or physically abusive/harmful and is unacceptable for such reason. However, the sub who enjoys harsh disciplinary sessions is doing so because he enjoys that and chooses to continue requesting and engaging in those sessions. Others would criticize crossdressers and hurl about wild misconceptions and judgments, yet they lack any understanding of the (psychological and behavioral) truths about crossdressing (aspects of which may or may not be based on choice but instead on personal identity) – and it is not for them to judge or engage in such behavior if they are inclined to do so. Of course, there are those people who would criticize any and all males who opt to be submissive to another human being -especially a woman. However, some men derive an almost inexplicable sense of physical and psychological ecstasy and fulfillment from choosing to be subjugated in those forms of treatment that they, as individuals, personally find to be acts of submission.

All that said, I thank you, magnus, for the expression of your individual position on this topic. I very much appreciate your giving me a prompt via which it was most appropriate to underscore the virtue, importance, and necessary support of personal ideas, decisions, and attitude. I also applaud your bravery in expressing an opposing opinion, as all too many people decline to stand alone or be the first one to express disagreement or opposition.

Is smoking disgusting? To some, yes; to some, no.
Does a pro or con position make one right or wrong? No.
    Is smoking unhealthy? Yes.
Do some nonetheless find it sensual, sexual, and highly erotic? Yes.
Are they wrong for feeling that way? No. That is called freedom of choice.
